Photo Retouching (Airbrushing)

Photo Retouching, or "Air Brushing" is the treatment of a photograph to remove dust spots, blemishes, unwanted elements of the image, or add new elements to an image. The thing that sets apart pictures of regular people and pictures of models, is Photo Retouching. Or at least that is what people call it when photos are edited in such a way where skin looks more smooth and clean. Adobe Photoshop is an amazing tool for editing photos in just this way. And with 15 years of Photoshop experience, our senior artist can restore or adjust virtually any image into a work of art!

Have you ever seen the tabloid photos of celebrities running to the grocery store or picking up the kids from soccer practice. They don't look nearly as stunning as they do when they are on the cover of a magazine. Being in the photographers studio for those cover shots doesn't hurt, but neither does having a professional Photoshop artist touch up your photos before they are printed. Almost all photos of models and actors that make it to print have been enhanced in some way in Adobe Photoshop or some other similar image editing program.

Since the pre-digital era, glamour photos have been airbrushed by skilled photographers to remove imperfections on the skin. Now, with advance image editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, airbrushing can easily be mimicked with realistic results. *However, many airbrushing techniques remove too much details causing the skin to look plastic and unrealistic.

The true Photoshop Photo Retoucher will be able to remove or color enhance an image so that the subject still looks "human" and does not take on a Plastic-Silly Putty appearance in the skin tones. The majority of Photoshop users are under a sad assumption that choosing a similar skin tone color and actually "painting" the subject is the proper method to retouching. The actual truth is a trained Photoshop retoucher will almost never have to utilize "painting" any portion of an image unless the underlying pixels are just too irregular or damaged to use conventional techniques to restore.

Our Senior Artist and Art Director has previously worked for all of the major tabloids (American Media, Inc.) doing such work. With 15 years of tried and true Photoshop experience makes choosing Liquid Fusion Studio your only sensible decision when it comes to retouching your wedding, birthday, anniversary or runway shots.

Over all appearance of the subject is very well balanced, and realistic.

Weak Points -
Eyebrows and Bangs look like they were painted with mustard.
Skin tone and texture is "too perfect" to be believable.
